a movie by :

Béatrice Pignède

This film, based on how the Iraq conflict was reported by the media, lists the general principles of propaganda that justify going to war, and the effects of such propaganda in times of peace.

Several American and Europeans intellectuals with differing perspectives share their views on media and the ideology that has built-up on both sides of the Atlantic.

Propaganda for guerre Propaganda for paix

Writer Jean Bricmont, historians Anne Morelli and Annie Lacroix-Riz, military expert General Forget, and journalist Diana Johnstone compare the themes of propaganda for the war in Iraq with those of other conflicts, such as those of World War I, the takeovers by force hitlériens of the years '30 and the recent Yugoslavia and Afghanistan wars.
